Are the beets used in Limitless organic?
Posted by Michael Smith on 17 December 2012 09:55 AM

The beets are not organic but they are non-GMO.  The beets are conventionally grown in various locations throughout the United States, primarily in the Midwest and Southwest.  While there are some organic beet farmers in the US, they cater to a relatively small clientele (e.g. health food stores, gourmet restaurants, etc.).  Since there is not a huge market, there are not that many farmers and not all that many organic beets.  Given the quantity of beets required to produce this product and the strong competition for supply, organic beets are simply not an option for us at this point.
